That looks alright, though it is certainly a very expensive setup.

You're missing a CPU in that list.

You'll want Vista 64-bit to use all of that RAM.

I'd skip the dual-monitors. Spend the money on 2 larger screens or one very large screen.

I think it's incredible overkill.

Tri-sli isn't really necessary.

Vista Ultimate doesn't really offer much more than hp for the average user.

I like lite-on or asus dvd drives personally. Have used them in a few builds, and they work nice.

I would also get better monitors if it's for gaming. 2ms to 5ms at the most.

I might have passed over the processor but I didn't see one listed.

No need for the cpu cooler unless overclocking.

I respect your opinion on the drives but I have had great luck with LG... Please convince me otherwise, I am not an expert on optical drives.

Oh I forgot to mention that I will be spending 255.00 (my nephew, thank God) on a electrician to put in a separate breaker for the outlet. I am not getting paid that well for my services....

jdeb, please post once instead of a lot seperate posts. It is easier to read. Thanks.

As for the monitors, using two screens is fine, but I'd skip that particular doublescreen package in your list. You can do much better just buying two identical LCDs. You can easily pick up two 19" LCDs for under $400. If your customer wants to spend more, get larger screens. Two 22" LCDs can easily come in around $500. I'd look at Samsung brand monitors.

You could get 2 of these- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145, for $340. A lot less than $700.

The guy is like Monk, has to be clean installation so I went high and he didn't bat an eye. He could turn out to be a nightmare though... more than likely. He wants three cards, I tried to talk to him about it but you can't tell some people anything. He agreed about the monitors though and they should mount to the wall easy enough.
