New Build - OK?
I'll try a less complicated post than my other and just ask if there are any conflicts or recommendations for other parts.
No real budget other than I'd like to save some funds for an I7 gaming build later in '09. Main purpose is storage / music server and HA Server. Probably even overkill for that but I plan to make the existing box a NAS. The tb drive and external box is for backup and transfer - later put into the NAS. If this is just for a storage and music server, you can defiantely drop down the specs.

Im not too familiar with Foxconn power supplies... but I agree... you do not need a powerful video card and such.
Here a decent case with a decent power supply in the same price range as the one shadowpr suggested: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119118 |

Thanks
Thanks guys - the 330 Case / PSU combo looks good and saves me some good $ - I assume 350W will be plenty?
I think I'll stick with the E8400 but I guess it's 65W max - I do some video editing and burning and such. Thanks for the help. |

If you do video editing, then you might want a video card. If it's nothing major, then the onboard video should be fine.
That case comes with a delta power supply which is good. Glc actually showed that one to me. |
