Building my first PC

I'm building my first computer and currently my specs include:

Case: Antec 900
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16ghz
Heatsink: Zalman CNPS 9700
Motherboard: NVIDIA nforce 790i SLI
RAM: Corsair Dominator 4gb 2x2gb DDR2 1066
Video: EVGA GTX 260
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200 SATA 500gb
PSU: Antec TPQ-850 850w

now for the questions:
1. Well first off, does anyone see any obvious problems with this build?
2. Also once I get it all plugged in and booted up and get through the first few BIOS steps, will I eventually have to go online and update all the drivers?
3. I know that the 32bit version of vista doesnt recognize all four gigs of RAM so if I get the 64 bit what are its limitations as far as what it can run versus the 32 bit and its other little quirks?

Thanks.

Welcome to PCM.

1. No, that looks like a fine list. I'd suggest foregoing SLI though. Check out the Asus P5Q motherboards. Dominator RAM is overkill too, DDR2-800 would be fine.
2. Yes, it is a good idea to make sure to update Windows and perhaps your video card drivers. The motherboard's drivers for things like the LAN and sound will come on a CD with the board.
3. 64bit Vista has mostly worked out the kinks at this point. Lots of members here have been using it on new builds.

Unless you plan on overclocking, you can drop the heatsink, and lower the ram to 2x2gb ddr2-800.

I would also suggest a asus p5q for a motherboard if using only one video card (which is generally more advised). Then you could drop the psu to about 650 or 750.

Thanks for your responses and input, I'll look into the revised motherboard and all.
