Price difference - Homemade Custom PC vs Pre assembeled custom pc

Hi everyone

After sorting out what parts i was going to buy for my build, i was happy with the parts i had chosen and the price it all came out at (just over £700). However, i thought i'd have a quick search on ebay just to see if i could get any of the parts cheaper than on ebuyer.com and i came across this..

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/QUAD-CORE-INTE...3A1|240%3A1318

It seems to be pretty similar to my build but for less than half the price! I can't help but thinking that there must be some kind of catch? Do they use components that are 'el cheapo'? Even if some of the parts are bad quality, the ones listed are good so would it be worth buying this just to take it apart and use the parts?
If anyone could shed some light on this that'd be great Thanks in advance!

The mobo is an AS Rock (cheapo) and the psu came in the case (not a good sign). No video card is listed but the mobo comes with onboard video. There are so many misstatements in that listing I don't have time to enummerate them all. Biggest is the cpu spec - 9.6MHz. Megahertz? Seems to me a Q6600 is 4 x 2.4GHz and you don't add the four cores together to claim one fast speed (same with the cache).

I would stay a loooong ways away from that unit.

2 Reasons that is crap:

1) Too cheap for this country unless they bought parts from a Third World country (E.G China, Malaysia etc.)

2) As mentioned above they cannot even get the information right. Dumb ar*es

Almost all parts - including high quality parts - are made in the 3rd world, that's not the issue.
