New build not going well

I ran Ntune's system stability test on the entier system and got "Display driver has stoped running error nvlddmkm"
So I retested each CPU,GPU, Memory, disks, and PCI-E bus they wroked fine.
The only time it would lock up would be when I tested the GPU with the CPU

My first guess would be the Ultra PSU. It may not be up to handling that video card.

You will NOT need 1000W. Not_Important said his comment as Ultra PSU's are not that good.
A decent brand (Corsair, Antec, OCZ etc) 650W will be able to handle it fine.

I reccommend this one:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002 $64.99 after rebate.

or this Corsair 650W:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005 $79.99 after rebate.

Do you have both 6 pin power connections connected to the video card?

Have you tried memtest?

Try some older drivers, or even beta drivers.

Don't use nTune, it's an old program (2006) and can mess up your graphics drivers. I've had nTune mess up the drivers for a 9600GT and a 9600GSO in different computers multiple times until I stopped using it. If you want to use a stability tester, use programs such as 3DMark, Memtest, Orthos and CPU Burn-in.

I have found a few more forums that have the same problem.

http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=518749

http://www.nvlddmkm.com/

The only thing that I found that worked was to do what the forums had mentioned
and that was to use a single mem stick.
It's working now fine.
This is not a great fix.
I am not sure what else to try.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
