Shuttle k45 pc install xp

Hey,
I picked up a Shuttle mini k45 with Linux installed. It does not have a cdrom in it. I need to reformat and install Xp on it since Linux is not as user friendly as they say. Would it be possible to install the OS from a usb drive? The computer has a seagate 80 gb hard drive. Thanks

If you are looking for an answer more than whether or not it's possible, then ask that question please.

1) You may need to access the boot menu, either with a hotkey during POST, or change the boot order in the BIOS

2) If you have another PC, you can pull the CD/DVD drive from that and install it temporarily if the external drive won't boot.

understood. I think I will try the regular Drive since the external one wont work. I changed boot order in Bios and still no luck with external. Also as far as installing anything on Foresight Linux its a nightmare. I wonder if Ill be able to get drivers in to run the DVD. I wish I would have gotten a normal PC with xp installed. Feel like Im stranded with this lousy Linux crud!

Dual boot

I wonder if you can resize the partitions, or add the XP partition and just install a dual boot copy of XP with the Linux.
