Please comment on parts list.
Howdy,
I'm in the process of putting a parts list together for a < $900 gaming rig. I prefer Intel to Athalon. This will be the second rig I've built. Please let me know what you think about the parts I've chosen. It looks good.
Don't forget a dvd drive. You might want to look at the e8500 instead of the q6600. For the hd, look at the caviar black drives. They have 5 year warrenties I believe. We usually recommend asus p5q for a mb, but that one looks good too. Look at both, and either one should be good.

I have a dvd drive picked. It's a Sony for $25, cheaper than a mid-range mouse, lol. I'll definitely take a peek at the caviar black drives, as well. |
