I really like the look of the case but i kind of have a expensive taste on a $800 rig budget. im looking for something that would work for now and b upgradeable later. preferably getting a mobo and cpu that wont have to be upgraded for a year or 2 at least. looking for any and all advice i can get i prefer to do all the shopping at newegg to prevent any unness hassle. main things the computer would be used for is playing war3 and diablo2 for now, but it would need to be ready for starcraft 2, diablo 3 and warhammer online (preferably would like to be able to play warhammer online as soon as the computer is built). any and all help is appreciated

windows xp pro oem and would arctic silver 5 be a good idea or should i be with the stuff it comes with. i dont plan on doing any overclocking off the back seeing as ive never done it before and not sure i will ever attempt but i would like to keep my options open if im not going to have to sacrifice to do so.

Also what would be a descent monitor for around $150??

You won't need the arctic silver for now since the retail cpu comes with a pre-installed patch ( and messing with that will void the warranty. ) .
It's an unfortunate fact that hard drives fill up fast I would double the size of that hard drive to 320 GB.

Did you download the qvl (qualified vendor list) for that motherboard at the Asus web site ?
Your first choice for memory should be from that list in order to avoid possible problems.

For a monitor this one should fit your budget :

and with the rebate it's a no brainer.
The 19" Samsung widscreens continue to be an excellent deal for a tight budget.
