Anyone know good pc store websites?

Does anyone know any good websites to purchase pc components from besides newegg.com?
I love newegg but it's out of what I wanted. I have an older computer and my motherboard just recently blew. It was an ASUS P4P800 SE. It's old specs listed here: http://www.superwarehouse.com/Asus_P...00SE/ps/392664
As much as i'd like to get a newer motherboard I'm really short on money. Since a lot of my stuff is older I would have to update almost everything and I can't afford that. I'm looking for a replacement motherboard for a 478 socket motherboard that supports 184pin ram slots, ATX form factor, and a 20 pin power pin for the power supply. Newegg doesn't have that so I was wondering if anyone knows any other places where I might find something like that? A lot of the places I found don't show me all the needed specifications.
Thanks

That's gonna be tough. I had trouble finding one of those a year ago... I bought from a website called SantechUSA last year. At that time, they had some Intel boards that had the same chipset as that ASUS board. I can't even get their site to load right now, though.

You can find some of those ASUS boards on eBay, but you'll pay a premium for one. Looks like $100 for a refurb Buy It Now listing.

that is going to be tough to find one of those... check geeks out, they have a couple of new intel that maybe will do the trick, I don't know without doing some research, you can do that yourself though.

Some folks don't care to use eBay but overall, I have had good success:

i recently ordered the intel D845EPT2 for a replacement, re-used the p4 2.4 400, ram, agp card, hd, cd rom etc. and the thing worked out of the box. did a clean install, re-installed the files, and good to go. customer was happy as a clam, repaired for 100.00 including parts. took hour and half

Give pricewatch a look:

www.pricewatch.com

Any bad reviews and pricewatch take a very dim view of the company thats advertising on their site, any concerns just take a look at how long they have been associated with pricewatch.

Ascendtech list many 478 pin boards.
I just bought a board from them last week.
Delivery was on time and the board was as described

Here are 2 places that still have a few socket 478 motherboards:

http://www.softwareandstuff.com/hdwmotherboard.html

http://www.pcpartsohio.com/Books.aspx?category_id=36

I don't see any Asus boards though. I also needed a new socket 478 board recently and I also did not want to upgrade everything else. I wanted to get as close to what I already had in there as I could, so I bought one from that second link I have posted and I was pleased with the service and the price. Turns out it is a Gateway board, but it worked fine, I didn't even have to reactivate winXP, because I got pretty much the same chipset and all on the new mobo.
