Partial-Build

I plan on building a decent gaming rig with these parts at the moment.
Budget's a major player and im trying to spend as little as possible:

For Sure:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition Processor - Retail
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...uma%207750)

Most Likely:
POWERCOLOR AX4830 512MD3-H Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ercolor%204830
(Don't plan on cross-firing)

Antec earthwatts EA430 430W ATX12V v2.0 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371006

GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128376

I'm planning on finding a good 4g memory (2x2) when a deal comes along. Anything not listed I most likely already have. Any information regarding compatibility/suggestions for improvement without compromising price would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
Any questions would be gladly answered.

What is your budget?

Is this just a gaming build?

What exactly do you have already?

Primarily gaming. Watch a few videos, but no editing or graphic designing stuff.
Basic internet browsing/music etc... (Hardly anything demanding compared to gaming).

I have:
All peripherals. (Monitor)
The Kuma Processor
SATA Hard-Drives
Antec ATX-Size Case
DVD Reader/burner.

Basically im taking my old 5 year old comp apart and switching out mostly everything that has aged since then and swapping it with new internals.

Budget-wise, i'm trying not to hit past $270, and hope to spend about ~$250 (Lower the better).
Most of the research and advice i've gotten so far seem to indicate the HD4830 as a good value for the price (Can't complain about $75 for a pretty up-there graphics card).

Is there anything I missed?

Thanks!!

This is my first time "building" a computer from parts.
Do you have any personal experience with the products from above or any idea where to get some good deals?
So far, as you can tell, i've been primarily looking at newegg because they appear to have the lowest prices. I've only been in the market for a week or so (Researching what to get) and would appreciate any "pro" tips yall may have on saving some $$.

Just ordered one of these memories for cheap ($17 AR)

Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220293

However, the motherboard forementioned has a memory standard of DDR2 1066 where as opposed these run DDR2 800. Would there be any conflict here or comptability issues?

Memory standard refers to the fastest speed the motherboard will natively handle; DDR2-800 in this case is supported as well. Looks like a good build; hard to go wrong with the HD4830 since it's got about the same performance as the 9800GT and costs a lot less. Good luck.

I'm considering replacing the power supply with

PC Power & Cooling Silencer PPCS500 500W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817703015

Is there anything im missing that would prevent this from happening?

if you are considering upgrading your power supply, please consider this... probably the best power supply for the money at this time.

I appreciate the suggestion jdeb, and I had been looking at the antec earthwatts (430 and 500) for some time, but I was able to jump onto the deal above for $37 MIR, nearly half the price of the antec. The power supply itself seemed to be rated well (To say the least).

Right now:

Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 Kuma 2.7GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache 2MB L3 Cache Socket AM2+ 95W Dual-Core black edition Processor - Retail

Power Supply:
PC Power & Cooling Silencer PPCS500 500W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail

Memory:
Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

Still Considering:

Video Card:
SAPPHIRE 100265L Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail

Motherboard:
GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3 AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

These are the last two things i'm looking at for the moment.
Haven't been able to catch any compatibility issues at all.
Can anybody take a bit and review over anything I may have missed with this build?
Thanks again all!
~Cheers
