64bit OS
Hi guys,
I have built a new pc, see specs below, and I was wondering if I can run 64-bit OS on this machine? Thank you MOBO: S775 ASUS P5Q P45 PCIE CPU: INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.40G/1066/8M/S775 MEMORY: OCZ 1000MHZ DDR2 NO-ECC 4096MB PLATINUM XTC KIT GRAPHICS: ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB PCI-E |

Yes you would need the 64-bit O.S to recognize 4GB anyway.
So yes you will be fine. |

Yes, but I would suggest 64Bit Vista and not 64Bit XP.
