I'm sure our UK members will have some other suggestions.

yoyotech is good. If your friend is in the centre of London, there are a lot of computer shops along Tottenham Court Road. You can have a go at haggling with them, setting one against the other!
![]() these days, the internet is usually cheaper and with better range of products than a real bricks-and-mortar shop (if you exclude overseas delivery charges!). I got most of my new pc from dabs.com, but also use ebuyer when their prices are cheaper (I think they do free UK delivery on some items too).

yes i dont think my sister want to use her credit card to buy me stuff from the net
and i dont have a credit card ,, i think her visit is short and not sure of delivery terms ... she will be in the streets of london shopping for expensive clothes so i convinced her to turn the taxi to Tottenham Court Road .. and pick those boxes up she was worried because she has no idea on hardware or shops or locations she just memorizes some famous expensive clothes shops in london from her previous visits witch is the thing that is important to her and her family so you see there is no point in letting a person like her jump between shops or ask about things he got no idea what it is for ![]() i wanted to laser guide her to yoyo i put an email on her laptop with the map page and the boxes links and prices all she have to do now is to show the guy in the shop the email ,put them in a bag, and just pay and leave she see it easy that way .. yoyo is the best place to point her towards, then.
with all London's fashion shopping I hope your sister doesn't forget the computer parts! Actually... I am sure there is a Gucci, a Prada, and a Manolo Blahnik right next door to yoyotech!! Honest

If it says on the website that they are out of stock it possibly means in the warehouse. But then again it probably means the shops aswell, So you might have to look elsewhere.
if you need to look elsewhere for shops in London(may be a bit far from tottenham court road) but heres some shops in London: http://www.yell.com/ucs/UcsSearchAct...er+Peripherals Last edited by tomtoon; 03-10-2009 at 02:25 PM. |

the link i gave at the time showed they had 10. if they don't have when you show up then he will have to go with what the salesperson says, just don't get a maxtor hard drive. you can send me a privare message and I will give you my cell phone number in this event and they do not know what to do... just don
t call collect.
