Build in a few months

Hi,
I know ive asked before, however I know my budget and everything now. My birthday is in august so Im waiting til then plus there will be newer tech out by then.

I would like a build that can play the latest games at a decent standard. My dad said his budget is £400-£450..

I want at least a 250GB HDD and 4GB RAM. I need everything except monitor, speakers, keyboard and mouse.
I might overclock also if possible.
I am in the UK by the way so anything like ebuyer, scan, dabs, etc is fine..

Thanks.

If not building to august, I wouldn't spec parts out till July the earliest.

Things change that fast.

Same thing we told you last fall, Tom - way too early to plan. If you will be buying in August, come back and ask questions in July.

He's installing a retail copy that was legally purchased correct? Because we don't discuss pirated software here.

And I agree with the others. It is too far out to plan for an August build. Ask again when you are ready to buy.

Yes, it is a legally purchased copy, he got it cheap in Malaysia due to the currency. It is the 3-user OEM version as far as I know.

Malaysia? I'll lay odds it's pirated, but that's neither here nor there. Never heard of a 3 user OEM version.

well maybe not but he said it would run on multiple PC's..

I might end up buying the O.S myself as its only a 32-bit version and I want 64-bit due to 4GB RAM
