Looks like a pretty good build; I would take a look at a different Case/Power Supply combo as Rosewill makes low quality power supplies, here is a good Case/Power Supply Combo that will provide enough power for your system with some headroom and cost less: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811108073.

Samsung isn't as good as Lite-On or LG for optical drives; might want to take a look at one from either of those two brands, the price should be pretty close.

The easiest way to calculate the amount of power you need is to use a power supply calculator. For your build; running at max (100%) with 4 USB devices plugged in and 30% capacitor aging (meaning that the aging of the power supply is taken into account) you would only need 290W. I have yet to see a power supply that will burn down parts if it can't produce enough power; usually the system just won't start. The power supply with the In-Win case is of good quality and has a very low chance of damaging other parts if it dies on you.

I would go for this drive instead:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136074

16MB cache instead of 8MB will help you.

You don't work on very many Emachines, do you? Never had the pleasure of seeing a DEER power supply catch on fire?

To repeat, a 350 watt power supply is plenty of power for any computer that uses integrated graphics.

I actually had an eMachines power supply that died on me because it couldn't provide enough power; didn't take out any parts with it or catch on fire though. Anyway, my point was that the power supply in the In-Win case is of good enough quality that it won't be a fire hazard if it can't provide enough power.

Emachines power supplies have a nasty habit of blowing the motherboard when they fail. If you see the brand "Bestec", run.

okay, so if 350W is enough, but my psu is 500W (since i might want to upgrade graphics or add on more stuff), would my parts get damage if i run them on the 500W psu when 350W is enough?

The problem is - that Rosewill power supply is made by DEER and it's GARBAGE. Pull it out of the case and throw it away. It's destruction waiting to happen.

thank you, so doing this.

so far i've decided to change my hdd to this one
and debating if i should buy a psu and case separately or buy the same case but replace the psu.
since, this psu supplied in this case seems to have very bad rep. hahaha.

We have already suggested a different case that comes with an adequate PSU. If you don't care for it, buy a case without a PSU. How many watts do you really think you need?

Best brands right now are Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, and FSP.
