First Time Build - Media - with room to grow
Hi,
I am going to attempt to build my first PC. The primary usage would be to backup DVDs and BluRays (and watch on LCD TV), secondary would be used for some gaming. I don't have a complete build yet but here are some thoughts: Case and PS http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.178976 CPU Is AMD or Intel better for this type application? Any suggestions? Mobo What Mobo would match up well with the above CPU? DVD / BluRay http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ICS-_-27136155 Graphics Card Suggestions? HDD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136317 RAM Recommendations? OS Vista http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116480 Any comments / help / suggestions appreciates |

motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186162 ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122 this CPU should provide you with your need... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116072 the onboard graphics are great on this board but I do not know what games you play. the case and power supply are great but maybe a little over kill? if you really want to game then we can simply change the recommendation. example... newer games..I would go with a p45 chipset and a better card like the 4830. I would also recommend a different foxconn board but the same memory unless you are going to overclock. |
