start.up

hi.
i have a home built PC running Vista home premium 64-bit.
My MoBo is EVGA 680.

When I turn my computer on, i get a black screen with white writing.
the top says: phoenix award bios v6.0016
then, a lot of data scrolls about memory and drives.
at the end, it says: F1 to continue Del to enter setup.

if i push F1, it then starts up vista and everything works great.

my question is this:
1. is there a way to bypass that initial F1 screen so that when i turn the computer on, it goes directly to vista?

thanks.
-daniel.

Check in the BIOS for an option like "fast boot or quick boot". This will bypass the BIOS test.
For the "F1 to continue", also check in the BIOS for the option "Wait for F1 if error". Disable it.

If it won't proceed further no matter how long you wait until you push F1 then your motherboard is more than likely failing or you may have Ram errors. Will it go through to Vista if you wait long enough?
