New build, USB problems

Hello.

I built my new computer several weeks ago, and nearly everything has gone well. The only real problem is that I'm having issues with my computer recognizing and working with some USB devices...mostly my iPod and HD video camera (Canon Vixia HG20). I'll get a little yellow ! icon on my device manager under one of the many USB Root Hubs.

I've tried updating to the newest drivers on the Gigabyte site (my motherboard GIGABYTE GA-EP45). I've tried reinstalling all of the software with the hardware that isn't being recognized, and no luck. It's not that they don't work at all, it's just that it's very hit and miss. They mostly don't work, and then occasionally they will for a short bit.

Anyone know of any issues with this MOBO and any magic fixes?

If it helps, the rest of my hardware can be seen in this thread.

Thanks!

You get the yellow icon when you plug these devices or is the icon on all the time? Did you try plugging those devices on the back of the machine or just the front of the case?

I sometimes get it when I plug in these items. I've tried them in multiple different ports in the back and in the front of the case.

I do have some USB items that don't seem to have issues. I have a card reader for my digital camera and an external hard drive that both seem to work without problem.
