Question MoBo/PSU Compatibility problem?

I'm picking parts for a new build cuz my current P4 AGP rig just aint cuttin it anymore. The motherboard I have in mind is the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128359 I want to use my current 650w PSU but the new board has an 8pin ATX 12v connector to the upper left of the processor socket. Unfortunately my PSU doesnt appear to have one of those. Heres the link to it: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817171014 Is there any sort of adapter that I can get or am I gonna have to drop another hundred or so on a new PSU? Also, Newegg doesnt have any search options for an '8-pin ATX 12v' connector... Am I missing something here??

I think you could plug the 4 pin in the middle 4 of the 8 pin connector on the board but you won't be able to do much in the way of overclocking. I am not 100% sure if it would mess with the warranty on the board, you may want to contact the board manufacture to make sure.

I "believe" the second connector is only required with a Quad Core CPU. Someone correct me if that info is wrong.
Many places sell a 4 to 8 pin adapter. Here's one: http://www.directron.com/convertps4to8.html
This is another style: http://www.pcpartscollection.com/4posuto8atxm.html
