First Build

I made a thread here a while ago about a build, but i left it too long to update and am creating this new one for the build I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on. Just needing some last minute advice/troubleshooting.

It's just going to be a tower. I already have a monitor and peripherals. Will be a gaming rig (fairly intensive), and I'm going with Intel. Don't plan on overclocking. Original budget was £600, but I can stretch to £700 if necessary.

Case - Foxconn TSAA-677 - £31 http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=890857
PSU - 520w Corsair - £80 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=27955
Mobo - Asus P5Q SE - £78 http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Asus-...-SATA-RAID-ATX
CPU - E8400 - £140 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=30243
GPU - Radeon HD4850 - £115 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=33455
Memory - Corsair 4GB DDR2 - 800 (2x2) - £42 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=35921
DVD Drive - Samsung DVDRW (IDE) - £20 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=34570
HD - 500gb Western Digital - £44 http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/500-G...MB-Cache-89-ms
OS - 64 bit Vista Home Premium - £90 http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Softw...roductId=25906
Firewire Card - £5 - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nisis-port-P.../dp/B00006JIMG Need this for Audio Interface.

£645 total.

Any glaring compatibility issues? Any easy ways to save a few quid? I'm pretty set on the CPU and GPU but the rest I'm more open to change.

Is there any reason to go with Sata or IDE over the other when it comes to the opticals?

I think SATA is more reliable and plus its newer technology and easier to install aswell
I would also go with this RAM as its more well known and guaranteed to work according to the Asus QVL:
