Can`t make a silk purse from...

This is not a complete list,it is just stuff I`ve gleaned from other posts. Any glaring problems? Can I save some $?,see any overkill?Thanks!

Well I did it, if I had remembered to order the power supply I might be using it now ( it was first on your list dummy! talking to self here..). I did the get the cpu recommended and when the power supply arrives I might need some adapters or something for the case fans and no telling what else but for now I sure have some pretty paperweights! wish me luck..
