Need gaming build saving memory...

My MB and video card have gone bad. I would like to upgrade the MB, CPU and Video Card, but I would like to keep the same memory (4 gig). I would like a dual monitor (2 dvi) video card. I am running Vista64. My memory is:

Patriot Extreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model

I cannot spend too much money ($500 limit) on the new parts. What would you recommend?

Thank you for any advice.

What size is your chassis (case)? Is it ATX or Micro ATX? How did your mobo and video card get toasted?

It is an ATX.

The video card has been going for a while. The MB wouldn't boot after a power outage.

Ok then you really need to consider replacing the power supply.
Before I recommend.
Do you game a lot? If yes, what games you play?

I play a variety of games. The most current ones are Warhammer and Age of Conan.

My power supply is: PC Power & Cooling S61EPS 610W Continuous @ 40°C EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply compatible with core i7, bought in Feb of 08. Based on the power supply thread on this forum, and the reviews, I thought it would be a good one.

Thanks again for advice.

It is a great power supply. It is more than likely in good shape. I recommend you go with these components.
