Build won't boot

Hey guys, first time posting.

Built a new computer today. Fans spin, HD powers up, DVD drive powers up, lights turn on...but nothing on the screen. Here are my specs.

Gigabyte MA790X- UD4P
AMD Phenom II X4 3.0 Ghz Processor
G.SKILL 4 GB RAM DDR2
Geforce 9800 gtx+ EVGA
Western Digital SATA HD

Any suggestions? Could it possibly be a short? I used the rubber washers with the screws in the motherboard so i don't thing it's that, but i'm sure there's a chance it could be. I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks

Before anyone starts slamming that power supply because they have never heard of it, here's the conclusion from a [H]ard|OCP review of it:

Quote:
The Bottom Line

The Sigma Shark SP-635 is an interesting power supply that has quite a mixed bag of results when it comes to all categories we evaluate in our review process. To be clear, the SP-635 passed all of our testing criteria. The build quality was evenly split between excellent external characteristics and mediocre internal characteristics while the DC output quality, noise, and load testing results all began to suffer when the unit was pushed to full load. None of these results pushed the unit out of specification, but at the same time none of the results made this unit an award winner even though the external build quality was truly one of the best we have seen to date. It was kind of like having a shiny new sports car with an 80HP 4-banger in it. It will get you there, but putting your foot into makes you worry a bit.
In a nutshell, it's not a unit I would recommend, but it's not total trash either. It's not likely, but possible, it's defective. Sigma is a sister company of Raidmax, the OEM for the PSU is Andyson, who also builds some BFG, Hiper, Sunbeam, and Ultra PSU's.

Back to the main issue - you may not have all required power cables connected. You have to connect the 24 pin main (20+4), the 4x2 next to the CPU socket (4+4), and the video card will have one or more 6 and/or 8 pin PCI-E connectors.
