700 USD Gaming Build

Yo, this is my first build, I am doing it for gaming as the title says. I mainly play FPS and MMOs.
I am open to AMD or Intel builds, I plan to run Windows XP, I would also like to know the difference between 64 bit and 32 bit, I would also like for the computer to be able to run Visual Studios. Also I would like for it to be able to do 2 monitors or more if possible.

I do not need any monitors, speakers, keyboards or mice.

I hope this is enough information, oh and once again my budget is about 700-800 USD if I can convince my dad it is a must if we don't want to rebuild it in 2 years.

Firstly I want to give thanks to you before hand for any future of putting up with me and helping me.

OK. a bit of google-ing would have answered the first question : http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...c8a701033.mspx

The drivers never really got off the ground for XP 64 so your focus should be on Vista and/or the upcoming Windows 7.
You won't have trouble with Visual Studios 2008 : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832116418

but you may have problems with anything else.

cpu : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103674

motherboard : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131366

memory (this would be basic for your system if you want more then by all means) : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145199

Video card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150359

case/power supply : http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.208581

These are specs for an AMD system that should see you through the next 2 years, and more.
