Help me find a CPU fan

Can someone please recommend a good cpu fan. My current fan which was the one that came with the retail processor broke.

CPU
Q6600, SLACR (G0).

Mobo
Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R

I am not looking to overclock, so I don't want anything expensive. Less than $30 would be optimal.

I really really really don't want to take my motherboard out of the case. The easier the fan is to install the better.

Thanks in advance.

I've been going through a similar issue. The Zerotherm Zen is under 30 at newegg. It's big and from what a user here told me, it will keep your quad core processor cool below 40c. However, the catch is that you have to send a $20 rebate. That sounds easy enough but if you read through the comments section, you will notice that there's complaints from around 13 different purchasers regarding their difficulty in getting the rebate. I had to go through hell myself regarding a rebate for a Samsung monitor I got before. If you end up getting the Zen and receive your rebate, reply to this post and let me know if you did indeed get the rebate, because that's what kept me from going forward with the purchase (original price is over $40). I always read the comment sections before I buy anything.

Shouldn't the HSF be covered under warranty? You should contact Intel and see if they'll cover it.

I believe it is covered under warranty, however I will have to pay for shipping to them. It will probably cost around $15 to ship and take longer to get a new fan.

I figured why not just buy a new fan that is slightly better for around the same price. Thanks.

*ALWAYS* remove the mobo from the case to change out a CPU cooler.

Buy another stock fan.
