need some help

hey everyone

so ive built pcs before but i have recently decided to undertake a project that i am not to familiar with, and that is building a half decent gaming pc, on a very modest budget of about 500-750

I've been reading a lot of information most of which i understand very little about lol

specially overclocking lol

but i was looking around this one website ive found n i kinda just threw something together n was hoping for some insight on this project.

here's what I have so far

Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-US2H AMD780G motherboard

AMD Athlon II X2 250 Dual Core Processor Socket AM3 3.0GHZ 2MB Cache 60W

Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X4096-6400C5 4GB DDR2 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-18 240PIN Memory Kit

not to sure about power supply, cooling n a case yet so any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
Justin

I am not sure if those ram stepping are good or not, so will let someone else to comment on that part.

As for overclocking(oc), you technically are voiding the warranty by doing it. Generally you will be fine if you're doing it correctly. The main danger comes when you raise the volatage. If you kill your cpu and there are black marks on it, well you SOL on that cpu as you will not be able to rma it back.
