First Build, check it out

I have fiddled around ALOT with building comps, but have never actually ordered the parts I choose, but I think that time is coming, Im still in school so don't have the money all the time. Anyways, check this build out and tell me what you think, I am going for a very affordable gaming rig. I know this won't play crysis on Ultra high settings with 60 fps, but I;m think it should be able to play it fairly well with mostly High to Very High settings. Anyways, I don't own crysis I will mostly use it for Modern Warfare 2, CSS, and WOW.

Raidmax power supplies are no good. If you like the case I recommend getting a Sea Sonic, Corsair, FSP or Antec power supply a 550W is the size you want.
Foxconn makes ok motherboards but their support is terrible, if you ever have to send it back it will be like pulling teeth Go with an Asus motherboard, they have excellent support and RMA service.
The 9600 Agena was an AMD failure, you want the 9650.
Seagate is having firmware issues, we have been recommending Western Digital.
Powercolor is a division of ECS which is the the bottom of the barrel when it comes to quality, here is the video card you want http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121291
I am sorry that I picked on all your choices but the advice I gave you will help you have a better experience with your machine.

Hey, that is some very useful information, I noticed you have built over 9800 PC's, do you have a building service? Also, I have revised my list and think it is much better now.

First, I have a friend who bought this case after it got some really good reviews on Maximum PC and I thought it is actually quite nice for the money. So I have Put togehter two possible case solutions for me.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147117 = Case + PSU
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156063 + http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341022

Second, I thought to myself, is it really necessary for my use to put in a quad core, keep in mind I am building a budget system, so instead of using the failed 9600, I have switched to the triple core 8750
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103252

I have switched my motherboard to two that I would like your input on. Is it worth the extra money to go ahead and get the full ATX board, or is a micro ATX fine?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131376
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131324

As of now I have a 160GB HDD and have not used it up yet, so I think another will do Fine instead of the 250 Seagate I had picked out.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136075

And yes, I think that switching to the video card you recommended is a good choice.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121291

I am sticking with the same memory, mainly because you didn't say anything about that.

I am also sticking with the same os, because thats all I want.

This comes out at $563.43

*Remember, this is my first system, so anything you say will help me. I realize that I have alot to learn.

Rosewill cases are ok, however their power supplies are of poor quality, Raidmax cases are pretty good and I've been using OCZ power supplies for a few years now with very favorable results. You might want to take a look at a less expensive OCZ power supply with at least 500W.

I would stay away from the original phenom processors, the phenom II processors are quite a bit faster than the original phenoms and cost about the same, the Phenom II X3 710 is much faster than the Phenom X3 8750 and is only $10 more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103648

Regarding the motherboard, you will be fine with either microATX or normal ATX. Everything else looks good.

Cool, thanks, I didn't even look into the other OCZ PSUs, that one actually seemed cheap compared to other PSUs I had seen, but now I found a 500W OCZ PSU and then the same Rosewill Case without the PSU.

Rosewill TU-155-P Case
and
OCZ500MXSP PSU

73.98 after rebates, not bad!

I am a system builder. I build volume systems to school districts and colleges I also own 3 computer retail and repair facilities and getting ready to open 2 more this winter.
I had to send back several OCZ power suppliers recently so I recommend you go with Sea Sonic, FSP or Corsair.
Here is a Corsair that will work well for you http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139004

this is really off topic but i would like to note that reading about Khalil's business ventures is really an inspiration for me. i work in a shop that is very unprofessional and unknowledgable (a senior IT told me that tandy's had a 64 CPU), and unlike Khalil many of them are not aware of the lasest hardware reccomendations

OK Khalil, that sounds good, I was just looking around the site and stumbled on the thread for PSUs in the Hardware forum, it recommended OCZ so I thought it couldn't hurt to look into them.

And that is really cool Kahlil, its gotta be pretty fun building machines all the time, I envy you lol.
