Motherboard Choice
I may be looking for a motherboard replacement to use with my well-cooled C2D E6600 Conroe and Corsair XMX2-800 RAM. My full PC specs are here. A few options I'm considering:
ASUS P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 ASUS P5Q-E LGA 775 Intel P45 Not sure if I'll overclock or not. A few questions: 1.Is my Corsair memory compatible with these boards? 2. Is it worth stepping up to DDR3 RAM? 3. Any other motherboards worth looking at? |

1. Yes
2. Nope 3. Asus X48 motherboards but you are not really going to see much difference for the price. Go with the P5Q instead of the P5Q-E unless you plan on going with 2 Video cards.
