Boot problems
Good morning,
Just put my system together last night. Everything went fine up until just slighty past the screen that says "Welcome to windows XP". Directly after that, instead of the desktop showing up, I receive an error that stats "The image wow32.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum" Stays on this screen until i manually reboot. I'm trying to reformat now and re install the windows XP in hopes it was just a bad install. Here is what im running. 1 x HD 1T|WEST DIGITAL WD1002FBYS % - OEM 1 x PSU SEASONIC|SS-700HM 700W RT - Retail 2 x MEM 2Gx2|CORS TW3X4G1600C9DHX R - Retail 1 x CASE AZZA| CSAZ-1000 RT - Retail 1 x ( VGA DIAMOND | 4890PE51GXOC RT - Retail 1 x MB ASUS M4A79T DELUXE 790FX AM3 RTL - Retail 1 x CPU AMD|PH II X4 955 3.2G AM3 R - Retail Any suggestions or solutions would be mighty helpful ;P Thanks. Are you trying to install 32 bit XP with 8gb of ram? If so, pull one pair.
