Any tips, am aobut to start building...
Hi,
First time building a pc. My rig: I bought a i7 920, gigabyte ga-ex58, 12 gig ram, 300gb raptor, sapphire 4870 1 gig, corsair 750 watt power supply, Antec P183. 1. is it safe to be building in my room w/carpet? (if I have the grounder thingy on my wrist and its attached to the case) |

I would start with this: PROBLEMS with a NEW BUILD? Try This!!
I wouldn't place anything on the carpet itself.
