Wanting to build a new pc :)

Hello everyone.I have decided to get a new pc for myself but the problem is I don't a pre-built pc but i'm also not very good with computer hardwares, but I'd I like gaming very much onmy free time so,hopefully with your help I'll be able to build myself a gaming computer.

I'll be going with Intel but I'm not sure if to choose a dual core or quad core.Maybe you could advise me on that guy's?

Also I wan't an Nvidia graphics card.Hmm,what else.Oh yeah, for the hard drive space I'm looking for something around 500gb.

That's about it on the hardware specifics, hope that helps. Now,my budget is about 1800-1900$,I'm also looking for a new monitor that would go into that budget.Don't laugh but I still one of those huge boxes D= so you can guess that I'm not very picky about monitors ;D I just need it to be flat and not very small on the screen size,so If you know any cheap flat monitors that are decent it would be nice if you'd write a link to it with the price there.Thank you.

Try newegg.com for parts.

You will also need an operating system.

I think the i7 and ddr3 would be overkill, but it's do able.

Good list.

Thank you both for your precious time.I'll probably go with Masaki's compilation.

edit:Also to how much would it be safe to overclock the processor without needing to add any additional cooling stuff.

I think shadow's build will far surpass your needs if you care about saving a couple hundred, but if you're just as happy spending the extra money, the i7 will also serve you well.
