New Re-build
Old computer blew, now im going to update some pieces.
These are the Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131297) and Processor (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115036) I plan on buying. These are the pieces I have already bought for the upgrade and from the old comp: Antec Nine Hundred gaming case Blu-Ray Drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136137) DVD Drive 1TB HD (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136284) Video Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256M RAM 2GB DDR2 Corsair 23 inch WidescreenFlat Panel Monitor. Need suggestions on a good PSU. Last one I had was a Antec 550W and I think thats what blew on my last comp... Mostly using the Comp for watching streaming video. I buy Center Ice for the PC to watch live hockey on the computer. It was a bit laggy on the only computer last season.. I also play a couple steam games once in awhile, mostly CS:S and I bought Bioshock and GTA4 but they made my old comp run hot and the screen would flicker so I never really got to play much of either game. Another question I have is about the hard drive I bought. Iis it a good one for my primary HD or should I buy a smaller (better one???) and use that as a primary and keep the 1tb for a slave? |

Your links for the drives don't work but looks like the HD is a WD Black. Good choice. As for getting a second drive or partioning for programs and storage, it's apersonal choice. One way over another is not better or worse.
PSU: Corsair 550w or 650w if planning to upgrade the video card.
