Do you know if you want to go with a AMD or Intel cpu? Does your budget include a OS (operating software)?

I was thinking for going AMD. Because I heard it was almost as good as the I7 core and the price is allot cheaper. So i can spend more on the video card. My operating system is windows vista. So i don't need a operating system. But i'm doubting because at tigerdirect you can buy a combo of Amd phenom II X4 965+ motherboard MSI 790FX-GD70 for 419.99 dollar. And a intel combo of Intel I7 core 920+ motherboard intel DX58SO LGA 1366.

Depends, theoritacially yes, but no one really knows how graphics technology goes. You may need to upgrade your Video card in 18-24 months but not likely, otherwise everything else in the machine should stay strong for 3 years no problem.
