£500 Budget Gaming PC

Ok so i want to build my own Gaming PC. This is my first time doing it so bear with me. £500-530-ish budget. I want to be able to play pc games like TF2, Left 4 Dead, COD's, Oblivion, etc... You get the idea.

So i dunno what components to get, It must include a monitor and OS (and mouse n keyboard but i could always buy cheap ones so yar)

BUT i have been looking around and found this PC, i costumized it a bit and the final specs are:

Ice-Box Black
AMD Phenom II 710 Triple Core 2.6Hz
Asrock K10N78M Motherboard
1GB ATI 4650
4GB (4 X 1GB) Kingston
320GB 7200rpm SATA II Hard Drive
22x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter
19" HannsG HW191D Widescreen VGA/DVI, 700:1, 5ms TFT
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit (it doesn't say there will be a Win7 upgrade but i guess it would)
Standard Mouse and Keyboard

Total £530

Good? Or would i get a better deal/specs building my own?

Thanks a billion.

Asrock is Asus's refuse, they are cheap motherboards that are supported by a subsidiary of Asus. Our answer here is going to be build your own. The hardware you listed will not be able to play any of the games u wanna play. U need a machine with a capable video card.

Sorry I missed that you had listed the ATI 4650 which is an ok card but here is what I recommend:
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=37061
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=37391
http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Compo...roductId=37441 I wouldn't bother with a tri-core
https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=37495
https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=37543
https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=36958
https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Disp...roductId=37277
http://<br /> 2 X https://www.aria....roductId=27566 or a case of your choice that fits your budget. I would Forget about 64 bit and pre-order windows 7 insead of buying vista.
Without an OS I am sitting at 460 pounds plus VAT
Good luck

Wow, thanks. Your link to a case isn't working but thanks only downside i see is the graphics card is 512MB which is not ideal :/ So later on i could add another graphics card when i have the money.

Edit: I looked around and found this graphics card it's 1GB and is cheaper. Better?

The 4650 can never be better than the 4770 regardless of the RAM capacity.

Edit: Never mind i got the link to work ^_^ But will this built do overclocking well? I would have to upgrade the heatsink but besides that would it be good?

Why overclock? Are you going to race it? The machine will run great without messing with it.

For when it gets a bit dated and needs a boost for newer games.

Edit: I noticed you forgot RAM with your previous built.
