I would not bother with a Sparkle video card. The GTX275 is a great card, for the money thought I would get an Asus or Diamond ATI 4890, ATI right now games better than Nvidia in my opinion.
For gaming you want a Westernd Digital Black hard drive.

You might also want to go with a Corsair PSU instead of OCZ. Top notch quality. A 600W PSU would be more than enough. 700W is a little much unless you're planning on adding lots of drives and a second video card.

Thanks, so go for:
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache PSU: Corsair TX 650W ATX SLi Compliant Power Supply And for the Graphics Card: Asus ATI Radeon HD 4890 Formula 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card That sounding better? Also what about a OS? I'm currently using XP but should i stick with it until Windows 7 comes out or just go with Vista? Not been keeping up with compatibility with core's and OS so any advice would be appreciated again please. Last edited by mrthoirs; 09-06-2009 at 05:05 PM. |

Those should all work, and right now if you buy Vista on Newegg you get a free upgrade coupon for windows 7. I personally think widows 7 is awesome, and its coming out in october so you don't have that long to wait until the upgrade... so I would go with the vista upgrade version.
