New home and gaming PC

I have not built any systems for quite a while. My last build was my current system, which is a 2.8 GHz Prescott P4. I would like my new build to last as long as this one, which I can still play all but the very latest games on. I am running a 17" panel and upgraded the video card to a Radeon 2600 XT AGP last year, which is why I can still play most games.

Here is what I have picked out:

MOBO: ASUS P6T SE LGA 1366 Intel X58

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor Model BX80601920

GFX: SAPPHIRE 100270SR Radeon HD 4850 X2 2GB 512-bit

PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2

RAM: OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

HD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5

CASE: NZXT LEXA BlackLine Black Steel

OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit

TOTAL = $1,219.92

Now, is this a good combo, and will it last for quite a while? Also, I will be OC'ing this some, (to ~3.0-3.2) and would like advice on an aftermarket heatsink. I appreciate the help.

The only X58 mobo I trust and recommend is the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131365
The rest of what you chose looks good but Sapphire has no end user support so I recommend you buy an Asus or Diamond ATI video card just in case you ever do need support.

Thanks Khalil, I will probably go with the Deluxe then. As for the video card, apparently Sapphire is the only one that has a 4850 x2.
