New Build Guys, Check it Out, Tell me what you Think

Hey guys, I'm building a new comp, gonna order soon, just wanted to see what you guys think. Ive been around for a while, and think this should all check out. This is for Home use and gaming, I game but I'm leaving home soon and want to leave my parents with a good computer as well. I know the CPU is a little overkill for simple gaming, but I want to leave them a good home comp that will last several years.

CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Black Processor
Mobo: ASUS M4A78 Plus AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
PSU: Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7" Power Supply
or
OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply
Case: RAIDMAX SMILODON Extreme Black ATX-612WEB 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case
Optical: Sony Optiarc Black 24X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 12X DVD+R DL 24X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 2MB Cache SATA DVD Burner with LightScribe LightScribe Support
OS: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit for System Builders w/ Tech Guarantee

Which PSU do you guys think? And for the Video Card, I had a question. I have enough money for the Diamond HD Radeon 4890 XOC, but was wondering if you guys think its worth upgrading to from the ASUS HD Radeon 4870 Dark Knight. Both are factory OC.

One more thing, Im pretty sure that this has enough space for those video cards because its bigger than an antec 900, but how can I tell, and furthermore, will the GPU stabilizing side bracket hinder the ability for the card to fit?

Looks good, I've had good experience with raidmax cases, the case should be fine for the Hd4870 as it's not a very big card. Would go with the Antec PSU instead of the OCZ, OCZ's been pretty good for me, but I prefer Antec PSUs since I've used them for longer and know they are reliable. You should be fine with the HD4870, the HD4890 is a very small improvement and not really worth the money. Make sure you get the 1GB version of the card though, it's not much more than the 512MB version and works a decent bit better and gives you some futureproofing.

Don't want to sound like somebody's parent but I cant help it. If this build is for your parents then does it really need a 4870 video card? I doubt if they are heavy gamers unless relatively young.
If you want a less flashy case, the Antec three hundred is popular.
Depending on the video card selection you might be able to go a little lower on the PSU wattage. And put the diifference in a bigger hard drive over the 500gb.

Well, I am probably going to take the video card with me when I leave, so its kinda for me, I have an old 8600 gt I will leave in it, and I wanted to use the 650W psu so it can handle future upgrades if necessary. And yes I think Ill consider that case, I just like Raidmax, so they were who I looked to first.

I agree with Masaki, I would avoid the OCZ power supply, they were a good company for a long time I had a bad run on their power supplies and quit using them.
Sea Sonic, Corsair or Antec is your best bet. Also I agree that the 4890 is such a small improvement you wont even notice it. I would stick to the 4870

I was reading that the older lower end OCZ power supplies (such as StealthXStream, GameXStream and Modstream) had problems when they were manufactured before December 2007, but seem to have been corrected afterwards. Link: http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

I guessed that part was for you. That's OK. Just be sure to leave them something!!

Yeah, I am going with the Antec PSU and the 4870, but I found out last night that the new ATI DX11 cards are coming out tomorrow, so I might wait until tomorrow to order and see if the price on the 4800s drop any.
