I would go for a Corsair, Sea Sonic or Antec Power supply. Everything else looks great!!!

You could get a better graphics card for much less with Nvidia, I know that the 4890 is better for sure, and the 4870 is probably equivalent.

Note to posts 2 and 3. He said he already has the 600w PSU on hand.

Build sounds like a good gaming rig. You're over my head on the video card, but if you're playing some of the heavy graphics games then you have to get something that can crank out the FPS.

Thanks for all the input. The machine is all together now and just needs to have all its drivers installed which I am currently in the process of doing.

Thanks
Chris

I actually modified from my aforementioned card. Same card though, different manufacturer.

I ended up with EVGA 896-P3-1170-AR GeForce GTX 275.

From what I have seen thus far, the card is out performing my roommates Radeon 4870. The difference between the cards seems rather negligible. Needless to say, I am happy with what I purchased.

Again, thanks for all the help.

Chris

That's saying a lot for the 4870 when you look at the considerable price difference.
