Where to Start - Gaming Computer
I am wanting to build a powerful gaming computer for my son. But there are so many options. Can anyone tell me how to find a recommended "shopping list" and "how to guide" for building a gaming computer?

Please post your budget for just the computer - without peripherals, operating system, or software. Also, please indicate what country you are in.

I would say maybe $1,000. But would be willing to pay more. Not sure how expensive this could get, but feel it will be a lot cheaper than buying a preassembled machine.
