Recently my media center PC OS hard drive failed. Thankfully all my media is safe and sound. I am not planning any other hardware changes but OS hard drive. Which leads me to my question.
I was using XP MCE and I was wondering if I should upgrade to XP Ultimate or other OS. Here is what I am looking to continue to do.
Thank you for your suggestions. |

If it was working well for you, there's no reason to upgrade from XP MCE. The old saying - if it ain't broke, don't fix it?

Thanks for the reply glc. I agree. If it not broke don't fix it. I guess that I would like to get more functionality out of the box. There appears to be more MCE plug-ins for Vista then XP MCE at this point.
Thank you again. It is always nice to be able to bounce things off of others.

If you want more than what XP MCE offers, I'd recommend that you reload it anyway - then look at upgrading to Windows 7 in a few months. Forget Vista. It's going away. Thank God.

glc, thanks again. I have been taking a look at some of the info out there on the web about Windows 7. Very interesting. My interest is peaked.
