Updating an old system
With the upcoming release of Windows 7 I have decided to update my PC. My old specs can be found in my signature.
Upgrades: Case: Thermaltake LANBOX Lite VF6000BNS Black SECC Gaming Cube Computer Case - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133045 MOBO: Intel BOXDG41TY LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813121372 RAM: CORSAIR XMS2 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145176 From my old rig I will be keeping the CPU, PSU, HHD, Optical Drive, and Video Card. My main question is, will this setup work with the new Windows 7 64 bit version? I am a little hesitant because of all the problems people faced when Vista first came out. |

If it were me I would wait a couple months after the public release to see what shakes out. The people who have used it so far seem to like it as a whole, but they are not your typical computer users, most of which have never even opened a computer case.
