my first build!
Hi,
I am wanting to build a computer mainly for playing World of Warcraft, and alittle faster than a store bought but cheaper than a store bought. I am not particular about AMD vs. Intel, or Nvidia vs. ATI., But apparentlly a internet friend helping me do this is. Here is a wish list he put together for me. Its a little high in price for me cause I was trying to keep it around $700, this list isnt to bad except it doesnt include the OS, which I will be adding Windows 7. Any comments would be appriciated, and let me know where I could save a couple bucks.Or maybe someone thinks it would be cheaper going with Intel or Nvidia. Oh and dont worry about the card reader that will be removed. I have an old tower already so dont need that, and I have some older CD/DVD drives that will work till I get more money. Welcome to PCMech; usually responses are pretty slow on the weekends. Looks like a good build list but there is a few places where you can save a good bit of money without losing much performance, mostly the video card and the power supply:
