Any suggestions or thoughts are all welcome. I will be adding a graphics card later probally a 4670 or above. I want to keep things simple for my first build and keep price down under 500 dollars. So far the price is at 374.95 I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I just need some help with my power supply.

This is a nice "main stream" psu : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371020

and the modular cable system will make life simpler.

If you're interested in a bigger hard drive Western Digital is selling their 750 gb black edition for only $69.99 with free shipping, only $22 more than the one you're looking at. The black edition is a better hard drive (the cache is bigger so its faster) and this one is three times the storage capacity.

Right now the build total is 486.94. Anymore suggestions are welcome I wont be adding these to the cart yet some of the parts are out of stock.

That power supply is way overkill for onboard video.

If your going to add a gpu at a later date a Radeon 4670 is not a good choice if you plan to game.
You'd be better off getting one of the recent 5XXX cards, a 5750 if the budget is tight, and in that case you'd want a beefier power supply.

Thanks glc and pam123 I do plan on getting a gpu later and I will have the budget to get a 5xxx series card. I just want to lock down the psu so I will have the power to run a gpu later. I do plan on gaming with this build but not hardcore. That will come on my next build. Keeping it simple first time around.

I was able to increase the budget so I chose a different mobo that uses ddr3 and has two more dimm slots. A heatsink and fan. And a gpu. I just want to make sure everything I picked out is compatible. Glc if you know of another place I can get that psu from Ill buy it from there.

The OCZ power supply will work fine also and can handle a pretty good video card (will easily handle the HD4670 and something better if you ever decide to upgrade); it's also modular, so less cables to worry about. If you want additional headroom and can spare a bit more money, the power supply glc linked to above is also very good.
