Yet another game build

I've been out of the loop for way too long. I decided to make a game build since the pcs I have are all for work. I logged on to newegg and was completely lost.

Anyway, I caught up to speed and setup a build.

I don't have a set budget but I'd like to keep it under 1500CAD (pre-tax). I don't want to go over since this will have no purpose other than as a toy.

So here's what I have.

I may just wait till stores start to stock 5850s. They aren't that much more but give a good boost over the 4890 (or so I hear) plus support dx11.

This should be enough for now.

I can't justify the cost of an i7.
The i5 seems to be a better deal than the core 2 Qs.

Looks good to me, as long as that ram is on the QVL for that motherboard. I'd wait for a 5000 series card.

It's actually not in the QVL.

I could go with either of these instead
