Now I have some newb questions
1.Will the above build a working gaming computer?
2.Do I need a four port sata and sas raid controller card to connect the hardrive to the motherboard?
3.What does a four port sata do?
4.Can I just connect the hardrive to the motherboard with a Sata cable?
5.Will the 600 watt power supply be able to power this or will I need something stronger?
6.And oh yeah if I built this I wouldnt want a virus to take the whole thing down so what is the best virus protection?(other than norton it doesnt work well)
7.Does the DVD drive connect to the motherboard by Sata cable?
8.Will this all fit in the case I selected?

all this without the moniter, keyboard, mouse, controllers, and speakers came to

$928.90 I think that is good.

Sup3r T, sorry you feel you are not getting responses on your post, but this an all volunteer site so during working hours there is fewer people to respond.
Now, as to your build would look at a WD Black Edition HD: bigger cache and higher speed. Would drop the RAID setup, not worth the extra cost.
And look to Corsair/FSP/Antec for a quailty PSU. For $35 your not going to get a 600w PSU that is going to last or be well made.
SATA connections go to the motherboard.
Anti-virus: AVG
Full ATX case: everything should fit.
Video card: XFX isn''t the best of brands, look to EVGA/Asus/Sapphire/Powercolor.

Not trying to be rude, but you cannot expect a detailed response within 30 minutes here at ANY time of the day...........

Please be patient and don't insult the volunteers. Thank you.
