System Crashed, Now Won't Boot
Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but today suddenly my system froze-up and i did a hard re-start, but it no longer starts. It tries to start, but all it does now is display the motherboard start-up screen, then nothing, then tries again. I get no post beeps (not sure if i ever did). I can"t seem to get into the bios setup either.
I build this system 6 months ago and it has been running fine since, no hardware changes with the exception of adding a second monitor. Stats are listed below: Gigabyte EP45-UD3R MB Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 Sapphire 4830 512mb OCZ DDR800 2 x 2 Gig RAM WD Cavier Black 640 Gig HD Lite-On 22x DVD-R Antec 900 Case Antec EA650 650W Windows Vista Ultimate 64-Bit Thanks in advance!

If the cpu went bad, would the system still try to boot? As in it currently does, just does"t seem to find OS.

Thanks for all the help! Turns out one of the sticks of memory went bad. Anyone had experience with OCZ customer service?

I hear it's very good - but if you bought the ram as a dual channel kit both sticks probably have to go back.

Must not be a speaker connected to the motherboard. There would be a beep code for sure for a memory error. It's getting those clues that pays for having that little part. The cases I buy always have one.
