Random program crashes and BSOD's

I just recently upgraded the CPU and mobo on my machine to an ASUS P5E Deluxe mobo and Intel Core 2 Quad 2.3GHz. After install of Vista Ultimate 64x I have been getting random program crashes and BSOD's with no explanation. I browsed Asus' website and saw that sometimes memory voltage can be the cause of system instability. I went into my bios and set the dram voltage to 2.1V, the required voltage by my OCZ Gold DDR2 1066 4G kit (OCZ2G10664GK). Doing this changed nothing so I figured my memory was incompatible with my mobo because it wasn't listed as compatible in the mobo's QVL. I downloaded memtest86 and tested my memory receiving errors when I manually set the voltage but none when the voltage was set to auto. I figured I would go out and buy memory on the compatability list just to confirm and tested receiving the same results in memtest86. I left the voltage on auto and ran my system with the new memory but to no avail. I am completely stumped as to what the problem could be so any help is appreciated.

The attached zip contains 2 dump files from the most recent BSOD's.

My computer specs are as follows:
ASUS P5E Deluxe Mobo
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.3GHz
Apevia 680W PSU
Gigabyte Radeon HD4870 1G GPU
OCZ Gold DDR21066 4G kit(OCZ2G10664GK) and Corsair XMS2 DDR21066 4G Kit(TWIN2x4096-8500C5C)
SUPER TALENT UltraDrive Solid State Disk 30G
320G Western Digital HDD

P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong section.

I would almost suspect the Apevia power supply. They are not a quality manufacturer. If that board has a 8 pin ATX socket next to the CPU, all 8 pins are required with a quad core, you can't use just 4.

Try slowing your ram down to DDR2-800 speeds. If I were buying ram for that system, I'd be buying DDR2-800 CAS 5 that runs at 1.8 or 1.9 volts.

Go into your startup and recovery options and UNcheck the box for restart on error. This will leave the bluescreen up, please post the first few lines that contain the exact stop error. The dumpfiles will only make sense to a Microsoft engineer.

Well, I've already tried several different memory settings including setting the dram frequency to its lowest with no luck. Fortunately I already have a pic of one of the BSOD's.

You have some reading to do - here's a start. You certainly aren't the only one with this issue.

The thing I find most bizarre about this problem is that I've been able to play full screen games on max setting while I was still having this problem. Programs usually would crash at start up (i.e. ATI catalyst control center, and Microsoft host processes.) I never had any problems with running the games though ventrilo would crash every once in awhile midplay. I was assuming that the program crashes and BSOD's were related to the same problem yet from what I've read other people weren't having problems with programs crashing.

As of now I am taking out my PCI-E sound card and trying without it.

P.S. I already knew about the 8-pin power connector an have had it hooked up since first install.
