Whats the Best OS? for my pc

Well here are my specs

Mobo - striker 2 formula
Ram - 8 gigs of ocz
Gcard - ATI radeon 2900 HD pro
Pro - intel E8500 core2duo
PSU - ultra x3

ok ive tried countless OS's when dualbooting and they always fail i jsut want one for gaming which one would be the best in your opinion to whomever reads this.

I've just installed Win 7 Home Premium and I'm downloading all my games from Steam (Yeah, I know, but I did forget them last night so now I get to re-download them. ) so, catch me in a few weeks and I'll give you an answer to that from personal experience, but I suspect a few other members will have chimed in long before then.

The video card and the extra memory in my signature are new this week and suited for a modest gaming budget and I have a copy of Crysis just waiting to be played as soon as I finish all the file transfers a switch from XP to Win7 requires ( When I get the time. ).

well i geuss counterstrike source works for me, and TF2/ But my problem has never been with steam games just crysis gta cod4 ect.... but iv allready had them running on xp64bit most of them maxed out and gameplay was fine, it was when i started dualbooting the problem occured. But i bought 2 copies of halo 2 vista 32bit and id like to have one running on my pc but it cant run with xp or 64bit OS's so thats y i was dual booting lol all for halo, but anyways let me know if crysis even launches i cant get crysis or gta 4 to launch the main menu with win7 64bit havnt tried on 32bit cuz it only reads 3 gigs of ram. thanks for the response
