That motherboard doesn't support DDR3.

This one does:

AMD's do not support triple channel ram - just dual channel.

That is not a quality power supply, and that video card is not a strong gamer.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-064-_-Product - The case you want with a Antec 650w PSU for just $60 more. You never want to cut corners on your power supply unit.

GPU: for around the same price as the 9500 you listed you can get a ATI HD 4670 which outperforms the 9500. Here is a comparison between those two http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Grap...GT/Page-4.html

What do you mean by ram listed with AMD processors? I haven't seen any combo deals of AMD processors or motherboard with 3ch ram. Also you can use 3ch ram on AMD motherboards; only problem is they will only run in single channel.

What we are suggesting is you use one or two kits of dual channel ram.

Still Not Clear, However

I checked out Newegg and did find bundle deals as far as AMD processors with MB that use DDR3. This one I listed and found others:

AMD Phenom II X3 720 2.8GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Black Processor Model HDZ720WFGIBOX - Retail
GIGABYTE GA-MA790GPT-UD3H AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Original Price: $233.99

However I came here because I respected this sites experts. Can you suggest a processor and motherboard for what Im after. Around 100 each

Thanks

In my post above I said I haven't found any combo deals of either an AMD motherboard with a 3ch ram kit or a AMD processor with a 3ch ram kit, so there isn't any listings on newegg which suggest that you get a 3ch ram kit if you go with an AMD processor.

Here is a good parts list for motherboard, processor, video card, PSU and ram for what you are looking for and in the same price range as what you listed:

Looks good, you won't need 650W for your build, but the Antec PSU is of very good quality and will give you lots of room if you want to upgrade later.

Need to change parts

Well I guess Newegg sold out of a few things, the memory and the video card are no longer available. I am thinking of going with:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231193

Since I dont know what to look for in a video card. I was thinking about 1G DDR3\
for around $100. Thats not to funny is it. I do play newer games and dont want the jerking picture. Any inputs will be appreciated

I think you should be fine running something along these lines.

EVGA 240
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130530

Asus 240
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121353

As you already know, for $100 your getting a budget card, but obviously you want to get the most for that $100.

I see the difference in memory type and size. What difference in play would I notice.
and how much do I need to spend to get a quality card to play all of todays games and a while in the future
Thanks

Ok I got the parts and put it together today. It runs fine however when playing Oblivion on any setting the camera is real jerky when moving around. Any Idea what could be causing this.

Are you using up to date drivers for your video card? If not you can download the latest drivers on Nvidia's web site. Make sure you completely uninstall your old drivers and restart your computer before you install the new drivers. In fact it is highly recommended that you use a program to completely eliminate any traces of the old driver before installing the new one.

What settings are you running the game at? The GT240 is a decent video card but you won't be able to play the game at very high settings and use AA/AF.

Still Jerkey

I have installed all drivers for the mother board and the video card, went to nvidia site and it said i had the most uptodate drivers for my card. I have tried all the video settings on Oblivion and the only one that seems smooth is Very Low.

Have you patched up the game? Also see if you can run 3DMark06, if you get a low or very low score it may indicate a defective graphics card as you should be able to run Oblivion at medium settings with the GT240 and no lag.

Yes the game was patched. This same version played fine on my other computer. I checked a few other games and the graphics look great. Its just in Oblivion in the combat scenes. I'm beginning to wonder if this graphic card can process that fast.
