Is IDE required?

I have Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard
I have 3 sata drives

Every time i start my pc, i got the message IDE not found then it continue booting

My question is, Is IDE requried? can i use only SATA? if yes, how can i remove this warning

No...IDE isn't required...

What OS are you using?
Are you gettting the error Before or After the OS loads?

Go into the bios and disable the IDE controllers.

I run windows 7 and before that i had windows XP and had the same problem
the error is before OS loads.

By not doing what glc suggests, you might as well use your computer as a boat anchor.

No, not at all - you will just have to deal with the bootup delay and warning like you have been.
