Asus P6T Deluxe V2 Firewire Module

I am installing an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 in a new build. Aside from the mobo's rear panel ports there is a separate slot module for 2 USB and one Firewire 1394 ports which connect to headers on the mobo.

The 1394 connector port on the module is not the usual Firewire port. It is a very small port with a connector I do not recognize. The Asus manual has no information on it and the drawing in the manual shows a normal Firewire port.

Can anyone please help me understand what this port is? Thanks.

That is a mini 4 conductor Firewire for devices such as camcorders that use external power. It's similar to the mini-USB you will find on phones. You can get adapter cables if you need them, but that port can't provide power to the device, it's just a data connection.
